Inventory
We always like to ensure that the property is handed back to the landlord, at the end of the tenancy, in the same condition as it was originally let. In light of new legislation, it is imperative therefore that a full and detailed inventory of contents and schedule of condition is prepared at the commencement of a tenancy, in order to avoid any misunderstanding or dispute.
We want to avoid landlords having to pay the cost of refurbishing/redecorating properties each time a tenant vacates. Without professional inventories and the safeguard they provide, it will be impossible for us to prove expediently and beyond reasonable doubt any loss, damage or significant deterioration of the property or its contents during the letting term.
